About the event
A ritual to celebrate the Coming of Spring, accompanied by song and activities both new and traditional!
This is an indoor event for our Aweneth Community, and anyone else who would like to attend. Members of the band will be playing.
At the tail-end of winter, Imbolc appears like a snowdrop with a promise of better things to come! It’s one of the eight festivals which make up the Wheel of the Year.
As the year has marked its darkest point at Winter Solstice we now look towards lighter times and ready ourselves for summer, awaiting the the sun’s power to carry us through. Our Cardiff event will be an opening ceremony for the festival, since the Celts would have marked their days from sunset to sunset.
