Our Autumn Equinox Celebration (Mabon) will be held near Bathford, Bath on
Sunday 21st September from 4pm to 5.15pm

Join with The Bardic Band for a Druidic-style ritual to prepare us as the year slips into the dark months of winter. We’ll be gathering together at a woodland grove with musicians and singers.  And it’s free of charge!

Apply using the form below. Numbers are limited and acceptance is based upon the capacity of the location.  Shortly afterwards, an email with the precise location to meet will be sent to the address you provide.

GET ON THE
GUEST LIST HERE. FOR FREE!

The Rite will be held in a public space, an easy 6-minute walk from a carpark. We are due to end before dark, but bring a torch if you wish. If the week before has been wet, the path is likely to be muddy. But rain or shine, our Mabon Moot will go ahead!

PLEASE NOTE:

We regret that this woodland location is not accessible for wheelchairs or those with mobility issues.

TERMS OF ATTENDANCE

The Rite is not merely for performance sake and we ask attendees to respect and observe the spiritual nature of the event.

Although our outdoor events are safe and family-friendly, we are in the natural environment. Please wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and temperature.

Please do not bring food or alcohol, although you may wish to bring a bottle of water.

Whether we are using public or private spaces, our collective responsibility is to leave the site, and the trails to and from it, as we found them, or better. Please take all your litter home, and be prepared to go the extra mile if you see litter that others have dropped.

This is a non-profit community event provided free of charge.

Children are welcome, but are the sole responsibility of parents or their accompanying adults at all times.

Please take extra care with infants and babies, and do not bring them in especially hot or cold weather.

We welcome service dogs. Where the site allows, we also welcome other dogs that are well-behaved and will not disturb the event and attendees. Please keep your dog on the lead for the duration of the ritual, and pick up and dispose of waste appropriately.

We will make a reasonable check around the site for any possessions or items left at the site. You can get in touch through our contact form if you have left something behind. However we can take no responsibility for lost items.

An event photographer will be present.
